There are some pretty dirty people in this world with really dirty idea's who take advantage of the seniors. Worst of all they pretend to be the seniors grandchild in desperate need who is not and is someone else.

This is how they do it. These thieves who live in Canada call these seniors down in the states and tell them it's their grandson mike calling etc. They say hey how are you? I need your help badly I have been in a car accident in Montreal Canada and have no where to go!! Can you send me some money!! The Grandpa asks how much and the thief says $3400 to cover the cost of damages!! The Grandpa then asks why don't you tell your parents about this instead of coming to me and the thief says I don't want to tell them right now, I want to tell them in person. Can I come to you in help right now Grandpa so you can help me out first. So the Grandpa sent the money to the fake grandson through a money telegram. The next day around the same time the thief calls again saying he needs even more money because the other party of the car accident was going to sue him!! The thief asks for the same amount of money but the grandfather says he can only send $2500 so he does so.

In the next few days the poor grandfather found out he was scammed and calls authorities and Canadian police. Though he lost his money he was not going to give up trying to help other's from becoming a target of the same sick game. He phoned the newspaper's the banks and went on radio to make as many people and seniors aware of it as possible and that turned out to be a good thing!

A Grandma was in the same situation with the thief pretending her grandson was in Canada in a terrible accident. She asked what are you doing there?? Aren't you in the states!! The thief said he was in Canada looking for work. When the lady went to the bank to try and give the fake grandson the money. The bank teller who had been informed of the previous accident told her about the possibility of a scam and stopped her just in time.

My thoughts on this is first I am wondering how did the thieves know the names of these grandparents grandchildren?? I have to wonder if the thieves had to have known the grandchildren!! Secondly I am wondering how these guys faked the voices of the grandchildren!! To help narrow down the possible suspects I think police should find out who the grandchildren were hanging out with!!

If you are ever not sure or it sounds to good to be true than don't do it and call the better business guys!! Better safe than sorry!!

100 days of Obama!!

Hey could you believe that Obama has already been in office for 100 days now!! Where have the days gone?? It just seemed like yesterday that he was getting sworn in at the presidential inaugaration. I like Obama because well He is a good family guy himself and cares for the people of his country and is trying to make a big impact!!!! He is trying so hard to help everyone out in these difficult times right now!!

Hey don't look now everyone is already partying on the street. Well the media anyways trying to make a cool story on the big day!! Did you watch the daily show last night??? I thought it was hilarious how Sam Bee was on the streets of New York while her co worker's were in outa control planes, the north pole and the middle east.

The media were giving different grades of how they would rate Oboma. Most gave a b+ or b-. Even Bo the first dog is happy after snacking on a rich doggy bone!!!!!

Hey What does Obama call his dog's meal of dog food beef and a big drink of water?? A Com-Bo!! hahah.

Congratulations Obama on 100 days in office!!!!

Electric is the future

I have an electric bike that I really enjoy riding. I bought it last year at Canadian Tire for $400 after taxes. I have been taking it where ever I need to go or just out for a bike ride. This bike has a motor which you could either ride just using the motor or you could pedal and use the motor at the same time. Charging the battery full only costs a few cents and you could go for over an hour of continuous usage before it needs recharging. I have become a bit of a celebrity in my small town lately because it is not everyday that someone see's an electric bike going down the street. Everyone knows it is a different bike because when the motor is running everyone could hear it. It is not a loud motor but it makes a noise just like any moving gear thingy would.

Now I did not buy this thing to be lazy and not pedal anymore. I bought it to have some fun on it while trying out something new that no one has ever seen before. I hope to promote kind of bike or any other electric transportation in the future because it is cheap to run and it is very healthy for our air and our planet. I hope that gasoline vehicles will be off the road in the future because the price of fuel is just too expensive and the internal combustion engine is very inefficient and it pollutes our air. Besides we all want to save a little bit of money and what better way than using electricity to do it. It is very powerful stuff. Some cars on electricity could go from 0 to 60mph in just a few seconds!! These cars are rare and expensive but once the supply is more out than it will come way down in price.

It's just like my bike!! When this type of bike first came out it cost $700, but now it has come down in price because more people are buying it. The only down side is If you run out battery dry of power than you have to pedal with no electric power which is extremely hard to do because you are pedaling against the chain attached to the electric motor which has a lot of friction so if you have a long way to go you could get pretty tired. Also the battery could only last around 150 charges. A replacement battery right now cost's $130. It will come down as more people buy it though.

I think everyone should buy one because they are so much fun zipping down the street on. When you have a newly charged batter at full throttle in a steady peddle you could reach 19 mph!! Hold on tight!! This thing rips!!! from stand still to full speed with peddling, less than 2 seconds. I swear this bike rips.

Take a break and buy one! I stongly recommend it!!!!!

I like Twitter!

Everyone should try twitter out!! I like it because you can keep in touch with friends. It is sort of like facebook status updates but only the updates are shared with the world instead of your close friends. You can find your friends and follow them and your friends follow you or you can find new internet friends and follow them. Twitter is also a good way to advertise. A bakery down in the states advertises when ever they have fresh bread they tweet it and then the customer's come for the fresh bread. Any other business could advertise too. Even stock quotes are now on twitter! Best of all it's free!!!

I Shake Baby on IPhone

Apple IPhone used to have a game from the apple store called I Shake Baby. It is where the user would shake the phone to stop a crying baby on the screen. The game got public outrage and so much critizism that apple was forced to remove it right away. The game was sick because it is like promoting shaken baby syndrome which is sick because baby's of any sort should not be shaken because their brains are so fragile that one shake could kill a baby or serious brain damage. My thoughts are that whoever thought of this was sick to the head and not thinking straight!!

Thoughts on American Idol top 7

I watched American Idol last night and as usual it was a pretty good show. Lil Rounds went first and sang her song and the judges commented that it wasn't the performance for her. Lil was crying after these comments and Simon Cowell noticed as he always does. He commented that this may have been her last performance. I have to agree with him. I am not sure who is going to make it to the top 3 but I have to say that I do not think Lil will make it. A big surprise to me has been Adam Lambert. After his performance of ring of fire several weeks ago I thought he was going to be out there and since then every week I feel that he keeps getting more comfortable and he is now like a pro. I think he might go all the way.

My Thoughts on Susan Boyle.

I've seen the hit video of Susan Boyle on YouTube. As of today April 21 2009 it has over 35 million hits on the most viewed video of her.

I like her. I think she is a great example of a success story just discovered. I am glad that she proved Simon Cowell, the other judges and the whole world wrong after her performance. Everyone was laughing at her before because of her appearance. You should not judge a book by it's cover.

During and after her song I dreamed a dream by the Les Miserables everyone was giving her a round of applause and was enjoying it. Everyone one was in tears and was laughing at themselves because she had indeed proven everybody wrong.

I think Susan Boyle is what the world needs. She is a big rags to riches story. I will definetly buy her first cd and I bet it will go multi platinum.

She will never be poor or unemployed again. She has said she has never been kissed before. Well I don't know kinda odd for a 48 year old never to have been kissed before.
