My thoughts about traffic light camera's at intersections.

I like traffic light camera's at stop lights. If you don't know what they are they are those funny looking boxes with the big lenses that stand 10 feet off the ground at the intersections where traffic lights are. If a driver goes through a red light or is going over the posted speed limit while going through the intersection than the camera will take a picture of the car's license plate and the fine will be mailed to the owner of the car. They are a good thing because it will keep the driver's feet more light on the accelerator and they will not try to beat the yellow light. When it comes to money driver's do not want to loose money from their pocket book so they will take the extra time to play it safe. This also makes our streets more safe so there will be less car accidents.

What I have not liked recently is that they are trying to get rid of the camera's in the city of Winnipeg because they are saying that it violates peoples privacy. They are filing a 200 million class action lawsuit against the city. I think that is not right and it is a horrible thing to do because if they take away the traffic light camera's than that just means that more people will start speeding again and trying to beat that red light camera at the intersections. If there is no diciplinary action for people's wrong's anymore than that means that people will be driving more dangerously because they know that they have no money to loose now. It's not like the fines were not put to good use. They went to the city and that was used for programs and activities and stuff run around the city. I will be quite angry if the people against the camera's win because it is just not right to break the laws in this case. expecially if it could mean taking someone's life just because people did not slow down for the red light intersection.

Yesterday was my birthday.

Yay it's that time of year again. My birthday!!! This year it was my champagne birthday. I turned 22 on the 22nd of July. I am treated like a king every year for my birthday. I always have a big cake, usually an ice cream cake and my parents are around me and wishing me all the best. My parents took me out for supper yesterday and that was really good. I had a ram burger and fries which was just delicious. Then the waitress gave me a free piece of cake because it was my birthday. I had a sip of champagne but I did not have much because I am not a drinker. I would have written this yesterday but I was way too busy celebrating with my family.

My thoughts on the Chris Brown appology

A couple of days ago on Youtube and on his website, Chris brown said he was deeply sorry for assaulting his ex girl friend Rhianna. Chris Brown and Rhianna are no longer dating and do you blame her for dumping Chris?? When I saw the pictures of Rhianna's face after the assault she looked like a total wreck. How dare he do this to a sweet princess like her I thought. Chris and Rhianna were dating for about a year or so and seemed to be quite happy together traveling to different countries around the world. I saw one of them where Rhianna was in a pink bikini being carried by brown in a pool in mexico. Man is he a lucky guy I thought to have such a pretty and very good singer as his chick. I thought Chris Brown had some pretty good songs out but I would say that the assault has totally wrecked his career. He has lost some of his endorsement deals from sponsor's and other fan's are outraged just like I am. Even if everyone forgave him I would say he has at least lost 30% of his fan base from the incident. I just want to know what chris was thinking when he was beating up Rhianna. Did it give you pleasure chris?? Did you have a conscience that was telling you this was wrong to do?? Or was this a thrill of a lifetime? Now Chris said that his family has had a history of family violence and that Chris had grown up with some violence around his house. Chris that's water under the bridge. If you were a real man you would forget all of that and treat this very lucky girl that you had like a princess. The way a girl like Rhianna should be treated. Now you could pay for it with your sentence.

Rhianna and her high school friend are back together again. Now I think that is the path to go for Rhianna because I am sure that this guy will treat her better than Chris will because the guy was a normal high school guy and was probably good friends with Rhianna. I hope she has a good relationship with this guy.

Here's a cool way to try and rob a gas station.

Ok I know it's wrong to steal from a gas station or any kind of convenience store but here's just a thought about it for fun. Robberies at gas stations are quite heard of these days especially with the recession. You may want to think about it a few times before thinking you are going to beat the law because there is a good chance that you are going to get caught. Ok here is how it works. You or a good friend apply at the target store to work. Get the night shift and say that you want to work alone. Work there for a few days to make it look like you really like the job and that you want to stay awhile. Now tell your friend the night, the time of night and your plan on how you are going to do it. The employee friend is working alone a dark night around 11:30 pm. The robber walks in (who is really the friend of the employee of the store) holds up a gun, and demands cash. The employee pretends to not know the person and gets really scared. Then he reaches into the till a few moments later and gives the theif friend most of the cash in the till. Then the thief flee's and the employee pretends to be really scared. The employee calls the business owner and says that the store has been robbed and that he was so scared that he does not think he could ever take an experience like that ever again and says he must quit. If the plot goes through then you and your theif friend would have made some quick easy cash.

If you are thinking of doing this than I would suggest that you stop right away because you have a good chance of getting caught. Just keep this as a thought.

Slow down on the streets.

It is summer time and every one is going out. Whether they go out the the bar or to the beach it seems they want to jack up their fun level by speeding. Speeding is not cool. You are putting your self and other's at risk. Say you hit an innocent motorist and damaged their car and possibly hurt the occupant. How would you feel. You could almost compare that to sitting someone down in a chair and hitting them with a ball bat because that is almost like what you are doing.

Is it just me or has there been an awful lot of car's crashing through house walls lately. On local news yesterday there was a car that was speeding down a residential street lost control and crashed through the walls of a house causing 80,000 in damage. The occupants of the house were very scared and the driver of the vehicle and his girlfriend fled the scene. They were eventually caught and charged accordingly. In the last few months I have heard of at least 3 vehicles going through houses in Winnipeg alone. Some one is going to get majorly hurt or killed if people keep speeding for no reason. So please slow down. Not only will it save on fuel but it will keep you out of trouble with the law.

How to save water in your bath room.

Everyone likes hot long shower's right. It feels like a message on your back and the hot water feels good and is good for the body. However with the rise of energy and water going up I will tell you how you can save some energy and water in your bath room. When you first step into the shower wash your hair right away to get the shampoo washed down the drain. Next put the plug in the drain to fill up the tub while you are having your shower. It feels good on your feet and it will help your wallet out to. When you are all done your shower keep the hot water in the tub. You paid for that water and the energy to heat that water so keep it there. The hot water will heat up the other rooms and the bathroom so energy wont go to waste. After several hours the water will be cool again but still don't drain it. Use it for flushing your toilet for free. Most toilet's take 2-3 gallons just to do a single flush. Here's what to do to get free flush's. Lift the toilet seat lid and take a small pail and fill it with water from the bathtub. Next dump that water slowly into the toilet bowl so that the poo in the bowl does not splash around to much. Pour gently for the next 3 small pail fulls and any after that pour really fast, it will clean the sides of the toilet and make it really clean. How this works is every time the toilet bowl gets to full of water the water from before will flush into the sewer. Sorta acts like a vaccumme. That is how to save money around your bathroom.
