I like my job!!

I like my new job working as a DSW. That stands for direct service worker. What I do is I work for family services. All I do is talk to my client make his supper for him and watch tv. I also clean his house but it is extremely easy. It is way better than working at Burger King because it is not a real hot kitchen and you are not working extremely hard and you get paid way more than at Burger King. Any one who is looking for a fun new challenge should apply to a job like this at their local provincial building. It's extremely fun!!!

3 holes in one

Could you imagine getting a hole in one?? Now imagine 3 holes in one on 5 rounds. Yes you heard right. Adam Sams on a golf course in Nova Scotia got 3 aces. The chances of this happening are almost 1 to 3 Billion. Holy smokes, I don't think I will be able to get one in my life time. Watch out Tiger Woods looks like you have a tough competitor.

I Quit My Job at Burger King.

Yes it is true a couple of weeks ago I quit my job at burger king because I was sick of eating free fast food. Well it wasn't exactly free but the good thing about working in the kitchen there was sometime's when the supervisor was not looking I would sneak some snack bites. HhHaah don't tell anyone!!! Anyways I had had enough of that place because I was only getting nine dollars an hour and there was no benefits except for 50% off foods which I hardly used anyways. A guy there was really anoying to and I hate working with people like that. I have absolutely no regrets about quittting there. I am going to use my Burger King experience as a learning curve for future jobs. To the future, Here I Come!!!!

Nice weather.

The weather has been really nice where I live and in all of canada. I have a feeling that this year will be a really nice autumn and a really mild winter which is good because I really hate the cold harsh winter's. Yes it was really rainy in the summer time but mother nature was saving the best for last and she is showing that right now with at least a week and a half of no rain. I went out to the lake with my friends and we had a blast. I went swimming and It felt really refreshing. The days are getting shorter but at least the weather is really nice. If it is cold my friends and I will go to Tim Horton's for a nice cup of coffee.

Kijiji is awsome!!!

Ok if you have not heard of kijiji I suggest you try it out. First of all Kijiji is a free classifieds add page in Canada and the US. It allows you to put your stuff on there for free from anything to cars, electronics and garage sales. It is like a money save in ways because if you want to sell your item you do not have to pay a cent unless you want more traffic in return for a small fee anywhere from 2 dollars to 20 dollars which could get you on the front page and get you way more traffic selling your item much faster. It also saves money in that if you spend some time on there you could find some really good deals on cars and electronics. The rule is spend some time on kijiji and you will spend alot less on money. New Blogs

Stephen here!!!! Ok so I have not posted any blogs for a long time so I am going to start getting back into it. In the last week alot has gone on from inside the white house to Taylor swift getting dissed at the vma awards. I like to watch the news and I like to type on the computer as a way to pass the time. I think it burns off some calories for myself and it is pretty relaxing and awsome. I am trying to find another job because I do not get many hours with the one I am doing right now and I need more money to pay for my pilot's license.

My thoughts about traffic light camera's at intersections.

I like traffic light camera's at stop lights. If you don't know what they are they are those funny looking boxes with the big lenses that stand 10 feet off the ground at the intersections where traffic lights are. If a driver goes through a red light or is going over the posted speed limit while going through the intersection than the camera will take a picture of the car's license plate and the fine will be mailed to the owner of the car. They are a good thing because it will keep the driver's feet more light on the accelerator and they will not try to beat the yellow light. When it comes to money driver's do not want to loose money from their pocket book so they will take the extra time to play it safe. This also makes our streets more safe so there will be less car accidents.

What I have not liked recently is that they are trying to get rid of the camera's in the city of Winnipeg because they are saying that it violates peoples privacy. They are filing a 200 million class action lawsuit against the city. I think that is not right and it is a horrible thing to do because if they take away the traffic light camera's than that just means that more people will start speeding again and trying to beat that red light camera at the intersections. If there is no diciplinary action for people's wrong's anymore than that means that people will be driving more dangerously because they know that they have no money to loose now. It's not like the fines were not put to good use. They went to the city and that was used for programs and activities and stuff run around the city. I will be quite angry if the people against the camera's win because it is just not right to break the laws in this case. expecially if it could mean taking someone's life just because people did not slow down for the red light intersection.
